Jonathan: I consigned several items to Honest Al's Auctions this fall and would like to report to you that it was a pleasure from start to finish. My consignments were in good company as there were numerous first tier items. I was especially impressed by the homework Al did to prepare articulate and informative item descriptions that were notable for the absence of puffery and flowery crap that seems to be the standard of many AH's. The fact that Al conducted his auction effectively in the midst of a devastating "meteorological event" ought to be all the character reference you'd ever need. All I can say is, wow! I can't imagine where some of these will end up as both type and set collectors try to cross off some tough ones from their lists. Impressive offering.

I photographed this collection for Love of the Game last week, and it was so nice to see such a grouping of collector grade cards. Tons and tons of Obaks, E98's, T206's, along with E100's, some really really nice '49 Leafs, '52 Topps, Colgans, and a ton of non sports.
Really looking forward to the auction.
