Can anything be deduced based on the differences in print quality between...say...t213-I's as compared to T213-2's...and the most washed out T213-3...and may as well add the t215-2's into the discussion? I just upgraded the t213-3(both are shown).

Peter,
I agree that T213-3 usually has a more faded look than type 1 and 2. Type 2 can be less sharp when in lower grade, but in mid to high grade the type 2 Coupons have sharp registration t2132lennox.jpg

My guess is that by 1919, the same printing plates that were used to print T206's approx. 10 years earlier were quite worn out by the time the T213-3
cards were printed.....hence, the "fuzzy/washed out" images. What's your guess ? TED Z
