Apparently my scanner sucks, but I just got a Kisinger with a crop mark in the top right that Jantz and Tim confirmed was an unknown crop mark player. It was much easier to see on the ebay scan and also in person. I wouldn't have bought it based on my scans, that's for sure! Also has a slight wet sheet transfer on front/top. Also thought it was cool that the B missed a little on the front, so it has a shadow effect. Two B's or not two B's is the question?

Thanks Scott. It's the ugliest card I've ever purchased, but I couldn't help myself.

Seems like most of the T216s out there are in really shabby condition. I have a T216 wagner (or, more accurately said, a piece of one) that SGC wouldn't encapsulate because they were afraid it would make what remains of the card fall apart.

One more pickup:
I plan on busting this one out of its plastic tomb and putting in a little display along with the M116 wagner and johnson I have (both pastel, and pretty beat up like this cobb. Actually this cobb is in the best condition of the 3.) But, I love cards that are worn out a bit, makes them look older and feel more "real" to me.

I'm a big fan of the m116 blue backgrounds. Fantastic centering on that Cobb!

Thanks! Yeah I really love the M116 set. Haven't started collecting the whole set as I'm not really a set collector, but the few cards I have (wagner, johnson, bender, tinker) are some of my favorite cards in my collection.

Picked up a Young from t206hound to go with my "wow, how is that still one piece?" Cobb from bbcard1 earlier in the year. Both look great in my office.

how thick is the paper stock on the t216 cobb? did you darken the scan? makes the card's color looks a little weird, like a reprint.

Are T216s really thin? Looks like quite a few layers of paper there. (Never owned one personally, so I am obviously no expert on the issue).

It's my first, so I'm no expert, either.

Interesting. I just picked up a Kisinger as well - same Piedmont WS transfer in the same location on the front. But no crop mark
