As an adult:
Ken Burns' Baseball Moneyball As a kid: Rookie of the Year Ferris Bueller Angels in the Outfield Regarding Ferris Bueller, I realized a life-long dream last year. While in town for the Chicago National, I went to my first Cubs game. The first words to come out of my mouth when I sat down were "Heeeeeeeeeeeey Batter, batter, batter, batter, swing, batter. He can't hit, he can't hit, he can't hit, he can't hit, swing, batter." I can't wait til next year! |

the card game in Bang the Drum Slowly was Tegwar. The game had no rules (the name of the game had something to do with this)

Glad to see that I am not the only one to retain such important facts. Most times, I can not tell you what color the shirt I am wearing is without peaking, but movie trivia and baseball stats from half a lifetime ago still fill my head.
