Default The Grinch Who Stole New Year's Eve

I prefer to call it December 31st.

I didn't fall out of bed. Revelry complete.

Happy January 1st to all.

Busily preparing to see the first team in history lose their sixth game of the season in the Rose Bowl.

Now the good news. We stayed above ZERO degrees last night (-6 was predicted). It's currently 1 degree above zero and the sun is just about to crest over my favorite solstice pine tree. There are more than 365 pine trees on the horizon beyond the golf course I overlook. Each has date. If I'm up for the sunrise, I don't need a calendar. I can see the entire range of sunrise azimuths from my Net54 laptop chair. Life is good.
