I agree. Normally I stay away from qualifiers, but in this case (one of the few) I think it better to have it all spelled out right there on the slab.
Who knows ..... maybe it will sell for 3mil???? Last edited by sdkammeyer; 01-04-2013 at 07:10 PM. Reason: grammar |

I doubt it. It's surely a fantastically nice Wagner. But my belief is that many Wagner owners and/or those with the means to purchase such a card would prefer to have a lower conditioned example that exhibited a lack of such a dramatic tilt.

Not that any T206 Wagners have ever gotten special consideration from the grading companies but if a regular submitter sent even a common into PSA with this same cut it would be rejected for being miscut and grading fees would be refunded. The MC qualifier is supposed to be applied for atypical cuts as well but I have only seen it used for cards which are severely off center where margins are greater than 100/0. The reason PSA, more than SGC, has stayed away from holdering cards with atypical cuts is that it gives the perception the card may have been trimmed and once the card is encapsulated it can be difficult to tell.

Just noticed there is a tiny bit of the below card's border on lower right edge.

I guess that little line is what justifies the MC qualifier. I've wondered why this card got a qualifier at all, but I guess that is it. Beautiful card. It is among the nicest Wagners out there.
