fake! It's funny that he said he's selling it because he upgraded his. I wonder what he upgraded it to? I'm thinking the '89 Bowman reprint...

Q: Hi, This is a reprint. You can easily tell by the typeface on the back. Also, the name Mickey Mantle is in red on the original, not in black, and the original has 1951 date at bottom. Someone aged the one you have listed, and also tore off the reprint info at the bottom. Thought you might like to know. If you are still in doubt, compare it to the back of some of the graded ones listed elsewhere. Blatant and obvious reprint
Took a little while to find it, but I thought that reprint looked familiar: it's an insert card from an issue of Baseball Cards Magazine back in the late 1980's. Obviously, someone just cut it out and roughed it up to make it look aged. What was that seller talking about - "rare version...sold in sheets?" What a bunch of hooey.
Not only does the text not conform to the original, but the reprint is smaller in both dimensions.
