Trust me I love looking at them. I think the Ty Cobb bat off shoulder is one of the most beautiful cards Ive ever seen, love the detail such as his typical bat grip and the colors in the background. I also really like the Christy Mathewson t206 piedmont dark cap. Again the detail in his face and the way his hair hangs out of his cap, which Im sure is a look he was known for, the way thats captured is something I can really appreciate. Just don't see that in my budgets near future haha. I was considering maybe honoring being from Indiana by getting a few Indianapolis T206 cards sometime.

Thanks Lee! If you have any spare time this weekend you should drive over and check out the card show at the mall.

Adam,

Do they have any pre-WW2 cards? If so, are they decently priced? I collect t206, t212, n172, and PCL issues....just wondering if any of this stuff ever pops up. Anyway, if you ever want to talk cards, I am nearby!

Lee,
Ive been going to these shows for the past couple years but to be honest I havent paid real close attention to what all the vintage dealers have, seeing as though I have always been going for modern cards and boxes, however this time around I will be able to give you a better report on what they have. I know they have 50's and 60's on up but I cant say for sure if they have pre-ww2.

Adam,
Welcome to the board! Great place to learn, experience, and enjoy this great hobby of ours. I specialize in E98s, but collect many, many more issues and items. I've been collectiong everything and anything baseball since I was a little guy 35 years ago. If you ever have any questions shoot me a PM.

Greetings from Fort Wayne,

I frequent the FCB boards but enjoy these boards because the maturity level is so much higher here (usually ) I have been to blowout and find I need a hot shower after reading some of those posts.

You will like it here. Welcome.
