The only fakes I can think of appearing are multi signed items with more prolific players, like Mantle, Williams, Mays, etc

Isaac, I must admit that you are now my go to person. Not a forgery on Ebay except for items that have more than one person signing. I just went on Ebay to make sure that you are correct.

I think the fact that many of his later/recent signatures are penned in a very shaky and labored hand will contribute to increased forgeries of this type entering the market. While I’m far from an expert, Musial is one of the players who signature I have studied quite a bit. His earlier signature thru the 80s and 90s was elegant and smooth, harder to forge with a high quality. In the past decade his signature became much larger and as I mentioned already in a shaky and labored hand. Its these type/styles of autographs I can see forgers jumping on.

I would only buy Stan items that had either MLB, Steiner, UDA, or Stan The Man holograms on them. He signed so many of these that they aren't that expensive.

I have gotten autos from 'Stan the Man' and they don't affix the sticker. The hologram is on a piece of tape with a matching COA. Don't just trust that. I never affixed the sticker to my piece for obvious reason, but I never plan to sell it.
