That's the stupidest card I have ever seen. At least it wasn't a good card cut up. Worthless either way!

I see that they took a very classy and aesthetically pleasing approach to removing personalizations.. ![]() http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sign-History...item3ccd3831f1I sure as hope this was one of the reprints, and not an actual '71 Topps Ryan... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sign-History...item565170af0c Last edited by novakjr; 02-07-2013 at 03:57 PM. |

Cut up a perfectly good card of good value to create a hacked up monster of a card of lessor value makes sense to me. Oh I forgot, people go crazy over the 1/1 thing!

the blank frames are nice tho if the blank area is flat and not a frame. could be a nice replacement to getting index cards signed. some of those players they cut out and inserted aren't even worth the time and effort to put into those frames.

Agree completely Jesse. I thought the blank ones looked kinda cool.
I guess my main complaint aside from the cut-out selection and/or quality, is that these are made to look like an insert of some type. I have to ask what sort of authentication is going into them. And does the fact that they look like a legit insert, create a potentially false sense of authentication? |

I once saw a 1993 Pinnacle DiMaggio certified autographed card cut up and used in one of those new cut-signature cards. I thought that was quite stupid. Those DiMaggio cards, while not hard to find, are very attractive and do have some value to them - cutting them up is just plain silly.

Just reinforces the notion that there is a buyer out there for just about anything. Hideous IMO.

Ridiculous. Nothing I'd ever want to own.
