Also the Backside has a "M K" carved by the sides of the card number

This card looks fine. Always check with a loupe to make sure the solid parts should be solid and the dot matrix should be dots. For instance, the black around the "Mays" should be COMPLETELY black type letters etc
Hope this helps... Edit to put an emphasis on "looks", there's truly no way to tell without having something in hand but what you need to look for is relatively simple... Last edited by Sean1125; 02-10-2013 at 07:26 AM.

This is a different guy from the mantle. I just passed on the mantle. I picked up this Mays from a client for nothing. Was a dodger fan and didn't want any giants stuff of course. The mays looks fine under a loupe. Print pattern and solid ink areas check out. It's not trimmed but I think it's a miscut. Thanks for the help guys
