Great card Adam.

Cliff---I have all the 1980 yellow oddities you mention ( although in several the name is not affected), except Cox. Do you have it and if so can you pm me a scan or describe it. Also, I have a Scarberry which seems to be similar to the ones you list

Nothing like realizing a childhood dream...

Got the Kaline and Aaron in the same week, time to relax and enjoy. My midgrade 54 set is looking pretty good...only Banks and Mays left for the big boys. I'll be staring at the Aaron for hours...can't believe I FINALLY own one.

Great pick up John. The Aaron rookie is always a keeper.

It took me forever to find it. It's on the E* Sheet along with the Fred Stanley, John Wathan, and the Junior Kennedy. I haven't found any variations of the other seven cards in the row yet, maybe the flaw begins with the Ted Cox card.

I agree! Anyone can own a Mantle! But a Curt Raydon rookie card...priceless!

Nice Aaron John! Can't wait to see it. You're really knocking off the big boys of those 54's!

I'm not sure I killed it on the price ($50) but nonetheless a pleasant surprise tucked among the shiny at the local mall show.

There are some nice cards posted! Here are a few of my recent pick ups....

Here is a nice stack of 59's I got in the mail yesterday.

And a few Mantles! I love getting Mantles!

An upgrade to my 65 Mantle... My brother John now owns my other one! The fun part about brothers collecting is the trading we get to do!
