As a collector of stringed musical instruments and baseball memorabilia who would never buy a Babe Ruth autograph...I can tell you that is a great buy! At the very least--just judging by the poor photos--it is a well-made piece of folk art. It could very well be a very good musical instrument. Sadly, it looks refinished, but still, I'd have been a happy buyer at that price.
