Like a lot of collectors, it's hard to choose one. I'm a fan of 1955, 1956, 1957, 1967 and 1971.
Not a fan of 1958, 1961, 1963, 1966 and 1972. As a kid, I loved the '56s because of the action shots and for the same reason, the '71s and '73s. Most of the action shots on the '73s you wouldn't see even on modern cards. Only recently did I realize that the cropping and photo choice for the '73 set is suspect. Lots of guys are facing the wrong way and Joe Rudi is not among any of the people pictured on his own card. Craig H |
