Scott
I was born and raised in Seattle until I was 12, then we moved away but the love of ALL Seattle sports teams was too well rooted to die. I live in Boise, Idaho now but we are close enough that Root Sports is standard with our Cable Package so I get to watch about 155 games a year and to my wife's dismay, I watch them all. We try and make it up once a year to see a game but this year with the Salt Lake Spring Game the trip is shorter (and my In-Laws live in Utah anyways). My boys are all die-hard fans too which I love but sometimes I do feel bad for creating such fans in a traditionally bad team (I have an awesome video of my 6 year old crying his eyes out when Ichiro got traded to the YANKEES last year, our families mortal enemy). It teaches them about sticking with something though and SOMEDAY the Mariners will win a World Series and it will mean more to me and my kids than any one specific World Series will ever mean to a Yankees fan! Nice framing Mike, I have a Jefferson/Madison and it occupies a prime space on my wall. I love those old Presidential land grants and have four of them in my collection - JQ Adams, Madison/Monroe, Jefferson/Madison and Andrew Jackson (first term, not the secretarial). And if you are a Jefferson collector you must visit Monticello, amazing place and you truly get a chance to appreciate the genius of the man.

Got these at a card show I attended today:
Bobby Richardson-very nice man. We spoke about the 1963 World Series and that catch he made off McCovey. He said McCovey still asks him if his hands hurt: ![]() Ron Hansen, also in person: ![]() Fritz Peterson, purchased: ![]() Mike |

Picked up these two over the weekend. I'm not really an autograph guy but they were just too rare to pass up.
