Paul, I did get that box & ball, and you're right, the box is worth more, the ball was just an extra piece. Were you bidding on it? There was only one bid, they emailed me and I offered them a BIN. (Sorry if you were the one bidder, they seemed disappointed in the bidding activity).
AndyPCL - That is a late Frick / early Giles National League dozen box. Used between 1949-1957.
