Jackie was awesome!
So I introduced my 6 year old son to Jackie.
I bought a Jackie Robinson book to read for story at bedtime - he loves it. He also liked the story about Cool Papa Bell being so fast he could turn out the light and be back in bed before the light actually went off. He now wants a real Jackie Robinson baseball card, hmmm. Even a beater is not cheap. Haha. Jackie went to UCLA, as did my mother, but she missed him by a few years. One of the top 3 athletes of all time - along with Jim Thorpe and my personal choice, Bo Jackson. Can't wait to take my son to the upcoming movie!
