Of all posts this wins a prize for needing most historical knowledge to understand. Henry the eighth found Anne repulsive and never consummated their marriage. At least she kept her head. I assume the sellers will have a happy marriage and consummate these sales.

1. What avatar are you going to select?
2. Has everyone been paid for their cards?

Yes they have ALL been paid in full!!! Echecks on Ebay take a while (plus I had to wait to get paid for my coin from my friend before I could send the Echecks....it took altogether about 3 weeks for ALL the sellers to get paid....and I very much appreciate the dealers who helped me and who trusted me...I will for sure buy from these guys in the future)....but yes the money has cleared for all the cards I purchased. In the future I will simply pay right away and only use a Echeck for items of greater value. Leon can confirm this since he knows a few of the sellers. Not sure of the point of this thread. I'm sure (or at least I'd like to think) all members here pay for their purchases. My rule of thumb is I never make purchases unless I have the cash in hand. Anyway, I don't know why anyone here would be interested in your personal business (except sellers awaiting payment of course). With that said, welcome to the hobby, and happy collecting!

It is very simple a few people doubted I paid for some more expensive cards and I simply wanted them to know that the dealers got paid....so I do not look like a bad buyer....and that I am not a liar. Last edited by Zone91; 05-07-2013 at 07:32 PM. |

If arrangements where made BEFORE buying the cards, that it would take 3 weeks for the seller to get there money then everything is good. IF NOT, then it makes you a bad buyer in my opinion.

Ok, here is how I believe this coin deal went down:
Adrian met with a foreign buyer who arrived in his private jet at an undisclosed airport somewhere in Canada. This had all been previously arranged. Adrian arrived at the secret location first. After about 20 minutes he began to pace nervously and then, in the distance, he could see a black, no change that, a *white* limo approaching. The limo pulled up and came to a stop. The door opened and a dark tanned man in a white suit wearing a fedora hat stepped out. He had a suitcase. It was the mysterious foreign buyer! The buyer asked Adrian to open his suitcase, which he did. The buyer stepped forward to see the valuable coin inside - the very coin that would finance Adrian's pending card purchases!!! But then Adrian said "Not so fast, let's see the cash first". The buyer open his suitcase and Adrian counted the money while the buyer inspected the coin. The buyer nodded his approval of the coin and Adrian was satisfied after counting the money. They exchanged suitcases. The mysterious buyer then said "Ciao baby" as he got into his limo and sped off to parts unknown. Adrian got into his car and yelled out loud "Vindicated at last!!!" as he sped off in his car. Fade to black and roll the credits ... So is that pretty much how this deal went down Adrian?

Hahahaha!!! Your story is SO much cooler than reality!!! No actually my brother made the deal since he works near the airport (where my friend landed and then left 20 minutes later by plane back to his city). Then a few hours later my close friend made a direct deposit to my bank account (I was not nervous I know this guy very very well...he his a young multi millionaire and ULTRA honest)....then I paid for my cards using Echecks...and so far I have received the 52 Topps Mantle and the Ray Demmitt T206 St-Louis variation.....NOW I was nervous as hell waiting for the 52 Mantle from FeDex....I just kept looking at the clock and walking around the house trying to pass the time and at 2h30 pm yesterday the card was in my hand and by 3h30 it was put into my bank vault and will no longer come out until long long down the road. Tomorrow I will be getting another card and the last one next Monday threw 2 separate shipping services. Then one last trip to my bank vault to put 2 more cards there and that will be that. The shopping spree is over for a few months....next card on my list as you guys know is the T206 O'Hara variation card in a 2 grade by either BVG/SGC/PSA. Next year or much later this year I will bu ya Babe Ruth rookie in a 1 or 2 grade again by either 3 grading companies. Last edited by Zone91; 05-09-2013 at 01:32 PM. |

I wish I could display them at home but there is NO way I will be doing that to many worries they are perfect in my bank vault. If we lived in a utopia world they would always be on display at my place for friends and my family to enjoy. Last edited by Zone91; 05-09-2013 at 01:36 PM. |
