As of today, I am a set, player, type and HOF collector. We will see what tomorrow brings.

I just realize since couple week, when i look at my cards, i dont really look at my t206 common ... i almost always look my key cards my 'top 10' cards...it is the reason why i think about perhaps switch my collecting focus. I voted as a top ten guy, but only to show i dont collect full sets.
I am a YANKEE collector and try to put together Yankee team sets from the early 1900's thru now. I also try to get as many different old Yankee cards (pre-1970, particulalry pre-WWII) as possible, not always worrying about trying to complete a team set in those cards. Years ago i used to be a set collector, and found that having tons of commons of guys who dont intrest me was no fun.

I'd have to say both. I have a few sets I'm working on and in the meantime have a few individual cards I want to have for my PC as well as my collection of HOF autos.

Always have been and always will be a set collector...excluding cards from childhood, I have less than a couple dozen cards that dont belong in sets. This would be one of them, but I may want to do the Kashins someday.
