Question about N162 King Kelly

JK, seems to be registration issues stemming from the the printing process of this particular card.

Yeah it looks like it is just that particular card. Most Kelly's I have seen have a clearer image.

Here is a scan of mine.

Still, even without a perfect image, the N162 Kelly is one of the absolute best looking cards out there.

How is it possible that only this one card would be like this? Wouldn't the cards that followed be like this as well?

NOt sure how these were printed sheet wise but I think it is safe to assume that there are others with registration problems somewhere.

Exactly.....I am sure there are other Kellys with similar printing characteristics. Great looking card and was my type from the set when I did 19th century.

If it is true that this image could be limited to a few examples, could these examples me considered factory defects like ghost images and mis cuts that you see with t206 cards?

To me, maybe they would be a slight printing error. Unfortunately this one would have the opposite effect of a t206 value, imo.
