Thanks for the reply Jake. It's hard to believe one out of seven visits is for people that don't look at any threads. What are they doing? Probably just checking to see if Adrian has started any new threads.

Never thought about this until reading this post.. but I realized tonight that I checked the forum from my iPhone 7-8 times during a long run in between checking work/personal emails, baseball scores, etc. Those 7-8 N54 checks I'm guessing show up as "bounces". I think I probably inflate that bounce rate quite a bit since I may check the forum when I get 30 seconds a minute at any given point in the day... and if there are no new posts in the particular thread(s) that interested me, I just move on.

Just the right place to get away from bordom. I visit 2-3 times a day. Always something new to learn and enjoy. Thanks Moderators

It would be easier to figure how much time I spend off this site. Seriously, There are some days I bounce in and out 50 times. And I'm all over it, prewar, post war, memorabilia, all the nooks and crannies. Dave.

My alarm goes off at 7am. Within 5 minutes I'm sipping on a latte and perusing the pre-war forums and B/S/T via the tapatalk app on my ipad. An hour later, I'm on a bus to work and seeing if I've missed anything in the past hour; if not, I'll read the Economist or the baseball happenings from the day before. Once I get to work, I check those same sections every hour or two since I work on a computer all day long and need small but frequent breaks. Then another bus ride back home. At night, I look over my two Pennzoni displays of cards (one in the living room and one in the bedroom) and do one last visit to the forums for new posts or old ones on a topic that I've researching before I go to sleep to give myself the best chance of having baseball dreams.
So ya. Thanks to everyone who contributes to the wealth of information available here. |
