honestly my collection is so big I actually forgot about the card for awhile had no idea its worth so much

In this lovely internet era, every step of the way for most cards is easily traced and sale prices are easily produced. There's always an eTrail to follow dating back to the late 90's

Are there examples beyond the Jennings that support a value of only a few thousand dollars for HOFers in a 2-4 grade range? I would be surprised to see the card in this thread go for 4-6k at auction but I've been out of the back craze for a few years so maybe I'm off. The other question to ask ourselves is how much is it worth if we owned it.
