LOT 1005: Historic 1945 Ed Barrow New York Yankees Contract - Signed by Barrow, MacPhail, and Weiss

Placed my "qualifying bid" over two weeks ago and was completely surprised I won it at that. Couldn't be happier on my acquisition.

I was surprised to get out bid at 3:30am after having my initial bid untouched since April 13th. Had it been earlier in the evening, I could have reallocated the money to my second choices.

Paul:

Great pick-up on the D. White card!

How about you, Ken, anything for the HOF collection last night?

Leon, I had a great time hanging out in the chatroom last night. Let's do this again some time. Congratulations on the Gabby Street Pirate back.
And thanks for not bidding on the Merkle, at least not more than once.

Paul, great pickup, I wanted that card too. Went higher than I wanted to pay though.
