I know what you mean. I just spent $10,000+ in REA, and I'm trying to get another year out of a 1996 Honda Civic with 340,000 miles on it.

Those 90's Honda cars are damn near bullet proof. I bet you could keep going a lot longer with a good tune up

I take the bus to go around I had 3 new cars in my life and 2 years ago decided the hell with it the bus passes every 30 minutes and goes everywhere I need to go and only cost me less than 10$ a month (a few tickets only is what I use)...the grocery store and all the rest is only a 30 minute walk back and forth...so I walk a LOT...need newer shoes more often but save at fortune in the end. Everything can be ordered online now so why bother paying so much for a car.

No more cars for me until I am told old or no longer healthy enough to walk that extra mile. I live in a big city so I doubt I will even bother to buy one then.

After flirting with my last venture into 911 Turbos, I've finally came to the conclusion that spending $50,000 on temperamental 90's super cars, was the worst possible investment. Sure 911Ts are really holding their value today, but when you start counting up service receipts, the "luster" of your investment quickly wears off. I've given up the sports car hobby..........for now
