Scanner Opinions?

I have a Canon CanoScan 5600f, purchased on Amazon (check there first for prices and reviews, even if you're not buying there).

I saw a scan some time ago and had to PM the collector about the scanner. Should I ever buy a new one, this is what I'm getting.... Epson v500 Photo scanner.

I believe the scanner is frequently on sale as well...I paid less than $75 for mine....

I know you're looking at an Epson, but I can't say enough about mt Canoscan 9000F. I am in the middle of rescanning my graded card collection. It's awesome!

I Researched & Looked for & waited about a year before I made my Decision...
This is the one I choose!

Anyone know if the Epson get do that?

Was too impatient to get some scans done and grabbed the Epson in stock. It's a huge upgrade from what I was working with, though I am uncertain what, if anything, needs to be done with all the various picture options.

Just did a run-through of my collection and kept the scanner settings at default; it's nice to have in-focus shots, that's for sure.
