Welcome...I will tell you like most told me here take your time to buy nice looking cards....and enjoy the hobby!!!

Buying a few books (in my case a LOT of books) truly helps as well...find a few players you really like and pick up a few books about them. So far my favorite 2 books have been about Mickey Mantle and Hank Aaron.
