I would say ebay at no reserve selling on yer own or with Probstein or PWCC. If you don't want to mess with all the time and fees, I would say Sterling.

Craig, I agree with you about getting away from the internet and working out but Adrian also needs to be careful with that advice.
My problem is that I tend to go overboard on everything. When I first started running in 1978 I loved it so much that I soon became addicted. I had to run every day and pretty soon 5 miles a day wasn't enough. On the weekends I would run 20 miles a day, and then I had to start running marathons. Pretty soon 8 minutes miles wasn't fast enough and even in my late 30's I had my mile time down to 5:00. When I started biking it was the same way. I did the same thing when I started fishing. I went fishing 4-5 times a week and I was pretty obsessed with it. I'm lucky that I live a mile from the Wisconsin River. Same with golf. I played golf every day for a couple of years. Now it is baseball cards. I think a lot of us on the board have the same type of personality that I have. I'm trying to back off a little bit. I run a few miles 2-3 times a week, bike 10 miles once a week, work out at the gym twice a week, and I'm thinking seriously about giving up on selling cards and just enjoying collecting for a while. Thank God that I can channel my energies into my hobbies instead of alcohol or cigarettes or drugs. A sex addiction might be fun! Rick

Congratulation to Adrian!! 1000 posts, in what has to be record time!
I think Adrian is a wonderful member of net54. Eccentric perhaps but at least he is not a dried up prune of a curmudgeon like some of you/us constipated old farts. Many happy decades from now, Adrian might just be one of the leading lights of the hobby. I have no doubt that Adrian is a good man. Dave Pierson

Adrian, I think I have posted this concern before several weeks ago. You do not seem like a bad guy to me. You are putting way too much personal information out there on the internet. This is potentially dangerous. In my profession, I defend people charged with crimes. Many are good people who have made bad choices. But, make no mistake, there are some really bad guys out there who could easily track you down based on the information you are volunteering. Smarter people than you have been scammed and/or injured because of personal information like this. There is no reason to let people know how much money you have to spend or how valuable your collection is or to share very personal information about your childhood or health issues that a scammer could use against you. Please be careful.

I guess that I have missed an installment or two of this soap opera. Adrian, why are you selling this cards? I thought you said you were collecting long term.

Yikes.
Every day there is some drama on Net54, and every time it involves Adrian. At some point it needs to stop. |

Adrian -- too much information in my opinion. Many of us have personal issues that we don't air in public.

I am selling these 3 cards to put the money towards my 52 Topps set and my Mantle master set. The only T206 card that I will be keeping is my Red Murray error card (Murr'y). I find the Murray card to cool of a card to sell I enjoy owning it!! I just can't afford the T206 set and the 52 Topps set at the same time....maybe years from now I will go back to the T206 set.
