Yep, another missed opportunity for a somewhat ambitious 19th century New Yorker. A midwesterner would have cut that thing to pieces years ago.

Default probably looking at this wrong

but isn't this an imperial or larger "cabinet style" photograph montage on mount and NOT a poster? I have a couple of similar ones for non-sport brands. Also I recall seeing copies of a similar mounted cabinet with the same 2 "binder"(?) holes which I always thought came from such a mount. I've heard there are some OJ experts on this here board what's in the know. Bob did call it a poster more than once Not the first time I'd be dead wrong.............

Henry--it's an advertising piece. An uncut sheet glued to a thick cardboard mount with advertising around the perimeter.

What you essentially have here is an uncut 24 card imperial cabinet. Cut it up and you have 24 normal sized N172s, although, as Barry indicated, mounted to a thicker than normal cardboard backing.

This uncut sheet and two others are pictured on page 116 of the Old Judge book.
