Congrats once again, Bob (on the April pickup as well!)! For whatever reason, I never realized the scope and breadth of your collection until recently. This must be a testament to your modesty, because your collection is amazing.

Much deserved. If they only truly understood how tough some of those cards were!! Great job. Enjoy the spotlight. Thanks again for all your wonderful contributions to this board. |

| April Bole

....little April had eluded Bob, a lot of others, for quite awhile. Larry...you need to start on that set soon :-) Last edited by ALR-bishop; 07-22-2013 at 10:52 AM. |

Bob's knowledge and collection are only surpassed by his generosity. A well deserved honor.

bob if you were a real collector...you would track down all 15 kids who are now in their 50s and get the cards autographed...now that would be impressive |

Awesome set Bob and congrats on finishing it....I saw the April Bole ending yesterday....I suppose the days of picking one of these 15 cards up for about $10 each at the Natl maybe over(as a previous net54 thread mentions). Good luck on the autos!

Congrats Bob. Mostly for finding "April", to which your collection ranks a close second. Doug |
