Thank you for all the replies. There appears to be both men and boys in the negative photo. The African American's emblem is CA? Chicago American Giants? Strothers played for them as a catcher.

That's definitely not Strothers, and not the Chicago American Giants logo. While a real nice photograph, it's a kid's team and like everyone else has said, there isn't any way that is Matty nor Strothers. Still a nice photo, appreciate it for what it is.
