It's real. An autopen wouldn't having the trailing "tail" at the end of the "d"; it would be a more abrupt stop. Same with the beginning of the "A"; it would have a more abrupt start.
Also the connection between the "P" and "a" has a very light connection that you will not get with an autopen (same pressure thoughout). Finally does not look like any other pattern of his I have seen.

I am 99% sure it's not an autopen. Just doesn't look like one. As for authenticity, looks like Palmer stuff I've had or seen in the past. It looks like a Masters Pin Flag. Those aren't the easiest to sign either due to the texture, so I would say it's good. I could see that the personalization was signed in another hand though.
