Hi Al-
I certainly missed you in Chicago, hopefully you can make the Cleve next year! Look N See came out in 1952 and was sold into 1953 and very possibly carried over into 1954. It's in the 1953 ACC, which was published in Feb. 53 I believe and would have been set for printing in the fall of 1952. There is also a reference to it in the Topps ad in that book. I have read it was a popular set that sold well, although I think it possible the highs may have been from '53 and the ACC brain trust (Woody Gelman was an editor) knew it was in the can even if not issued. Great set, one of my favorites. |
