The movie has definitely had a major impact. I know of a bunch of new Robinson collectors that have entered the market. The Bond Bread cards had fallen significantly since their 2011 highs, but have climbed back significantly in the last few months. I believe the most common portrait version hit a record high in one of the more recent Goodwin auctions.
The '49 Leaf card has gone through the roof! Dan, nice Mays. I'm looking into buying a PSA 2 or PSA 3 Mantle RC myself in the coming weeks as well.
