			could be from around 1900 The Louisville Bat company with their familiar horseshoe logo along with the mascot model were sold to the H&B company in the 1920s and they kept the line for a few years offering signature model bats of both minor league players. (from Mears site) |

			Beauty!   Very rare to see that maker with the bulbous  "Egg" knob.   Nice decal as well... he cared for it extremely well, as overall condition appears to be in the top 2%.

			Thanks everyone for the information.  My barber's father had it in the shop to use in case he needed to defend himself.  He has it in a bat case now. I will let everyone know if he decides to sell it.
