Further research has shown that the reason for this is that I sent the payment to the wrong email address. Fortunately, the guy had not received the money... looks like I am in the clear and a re-order is coming soon...

Phil, Given that we paid using Paypal, why don't you just check your paypal history and send the addendum to all the email addresses? It's really a no-brainer.
