For the past several years, the Texas Rangers have used card-like elements on their scoreboard. It's always fun to see what design they are using this year.

I know this is a "card" thread, but I figured this display is too neat not to post here. I'm guessing most folks on this board won't have a chance to see this.
The collection of longtime sportswriter Shirley Povich is on display in the main press box at Nationals Park in Washington. It contains his typewriter, his trademark hat, a 1924 World Series scorecard/program, a ball signed by Walter Johnson, etc. It also has this impressive display of World Series press pins, spanning 1924 to 1970 (with some years missing). Some years only have one pin, and some have phantom pins, but it's very impressive to see all of them together. |

Depending on what program you ended up with you could have received 1 of 4 different card. The cards were from the 1430 card set produced by The Sporting News and Megacards between 1991 and 1995 featuring regular sized cards with pictures from the Conlon Collection ( owned by The Sporting news)

So many cool pictures in this thread, I wish we had pictures from all 30 major league stadiums. Brad, those pictures from St. Louis makes me want to go there to see a game and see them, they are fantastic. Those pictures Gary posted earlier of them putting up the big cards in New York are really great too.
