Back in the 70s i used to buy and sell, carmel, tobacco, cracker jack, goudeys cards etc with stains, glue, tape, writing, with absolutely no problem, and i guess the reason was because it seemed like about 1/2 the cards in existence had this issues! of course we always had a select few that wanted nothing to do with such issues and these were the high class collectors and would pay more money for the cleaner cards, so some people/dealers learned how to clean this cards, so they could nail this high class collectors for more money!! now a days i wonder what happened to those thousands of cards with such issues that went through my hands?? OH YES is now called paper loss!! and is widely accepted. finally i think this stain issues are proof of authenticity sort of. Last edited by pepis; 09-29-2013 at 03:09 PM. |
