Hi Ed,
Yes, they were printed, but just don't know if they survived. I'm sure they're out there. Rob |

Yeah, 6 colors. Ed knows that, just mistyped.
As far as prying from collections goes, maybe this is a better topic for the main board, but I don't feel as if there are as many large, private collections of E94 or any candy issues compared to the tobacco cards. I'm not saying there aren't a few large collections of E94, but candy card collectors do a lot of networking. I'm sure some of the older collections have E94s, but I would wager Bob has more different front/back combinations than anyone in the world. Never know and nothing surprises me in this hobby, but I doubt it. From talking to collectors who have been in the hobby for decades, folks just didn't collect E94 and E98 by color years and years ago. Maybe a certain Wisconsin collection might have a large hoard of these...? By the way, nice running into you at the national Pete. I should've bought that e90-2 wagner. hey rob...nice meeting u2! I agree with u in that you don't find many large groups of e94's...or even small groups for that matter...in most collections. only the most complete collections seem to have some!
I've seen the cobb, the murray, the lajoie, the red young and red lake...the others I have not seen. |

Jim B. has the olive green Byrne, it's the only one I know of in the hobby. If I can get a comparable or better Byrne, Jim has said he would make a deal with me. His Byrne is a 5 or 6 I believe.
When I first started collecting E94s I was going after creaseless examples only and so passed on a red Bates, a blue Bescher and a red Lake, to my chagrin now :-( The card which really puzzles me is the blue Crawford. I have never even seen one anywhere. I don't know why it should be so tough The Cobb and the two Youngs are going to be pricey and the Lajoie (especially) and Crawford will be semi-pricey but the others should be "common affordable" but I just can't find them. Too many frigging "violet" collectors out there make the Murray more than a common price, that is if I could ever find one for sale
