They were purchased together from someone who has been active on this forum in the past and who I believe has had them for some time (albeit not 100 years!). I can inquire into where he obtained them.

Apparently they were all offered together as part of a 2007 Philip Weiss auction:

These have been around for awhile. D304 "errors" or miscuts are hard to find which makes them pretty neat in my opinion.

More than that, the Cobb is in pretty good shape overall with a clean back. Nice pickup.

Check out the Chief Meyers card from the same auction. Appears to be a candidate for completing your Cobb and Wagner. Good hunting!!

Cool, man! Interesting how the color of the borders appears dramatically different...leads me to believe they were stored differently?

D304s don't seem to come as miscuts very often. Those are some beauts in the original post, and are especially interesting due to their common placement on the sheet. Very cool.
The bottom of this scan has a miscut D304. Pardon the other cards, I am lazy...
