Instead of starting it's own thread I'll reopen this one. I was going through the set I just got back and this one caught my eye. The letters in the team name are seriously funky. I did a search of Purtell cards and all looked normal. Any thoughts?

I sort of looks like some letters were missing and someone wrote them in?

Could be another one of the ones where the caption didn't transfer to the plate properly, but in this case it got fixed. All the press operator would need to do to fix it would be to scratch in the missing letters.

Chris, the Hart old mill upside down miscut was originally mine before I sold it to Michael. I picked up the Hart and a Wilson blank back on the same day at a flea market!! Happy collecting.
