Looking to buy a signed 55 topps, prices where 1200/1500 I believe last after the film 2 were closer to 2k mark however on card auto's have gone through the roof lately

As someone who has exclusively collected Jackie cards, I have seen a noticeable increase in mid-to-high grade Jackie cards. I do attribute the increase to two things:
1) the movie 2) this being Mariano Rivera's last year Both have kept Jackie Robinson on people's minds throughout the course of the year, and I know that each has inspired collectors to pick up a key Jackie card or two.

J. Robinson Cards
I'm glad I picked up some when I did. I got the 1953 raw and sent it to SGC to be graded. I think I picked up the 1956 card graded for less than $50!
