Yes, a wildly off-centered PSA 7 went in a PWCC auction in June for twice what the card had been going for. Now a 2K card is regularly a 4K card. And even a nice SGC 60 goes for 4K! Thanks, Brent!

Yeah, it's crazy. I was first extremely panicked when I saw the price of the SGC60 thinking perhaps I screwed up and bid on the wrong Robinson. Seems pretty odd how it sells for the same as the one I picked up.

Rhett, nice pick-up. It's great to get one of those cards that you've been looking for for so long.

Did anyone here get lot #391? I was an underbidder, and I only need one of the cards in the lot, so if the winner is interested in selling that card, please PM me. Thanks.

Maybe the bidders for the SGC60 didn't put a placeholder bid for the 84 for whatever reason (perhaps thought it'd go for a lot higher), so just ended up getting in a bidding war on this one.

This is the first we have heard about any of our cards selling for unusually high prices.

Does every thread really need to become about Brent and PWCC?

When he stops lying about the fraud in his auction then I'm guessing the comments will stop.

Great pick-up, Mark. I'm sure that you did not have one of that type in your HOF collection previously.

Default Awesome pickups

Rhett,

Congrats on the Moonlight Graham Rose Postcard Co. PC!

Leon,

You probably know that your pickup is Roy Thomas of the Phillies and not Ira Thomas of the As.

Thanks Patrick. It could have been Bob Smith for all I care. I bought it for the overprint on the back . I do appreciate knowing as I might have thought it was Ira.
