V 61-1
Here are some Neilsen's V 61-1 & V 61-2. The Type 1 cards are printed with the company name in a Gothic script on the reverse and seem to have a thinner more fragile card stock. The fonts used in a Type 2 card is plain, on a thicker card stock. The photo's were used in other sets including E121's (purist classify some of these as W 575-1's), some strip cards like W573's and even some pre-war W572's with a modern (ie post-2000) stamp added that looks like a V61-2 Neilsen's ad back.
The Type I set has approx. 120 cards with a good mix of big names including Cobb, Ruth, Johnson, Sisler, Hornsby, Alexander, Collins, Goslin and Wheat. Z Wheat
