Hi Fred, the autographed issue did have Certified Autograph Issue in gold foil on the front. I've never seen one with the stamp and no auto. Randy

Hi Randy:
Thanks for the reply. I know the autographed ones came with the gold foil stamp. My question is, have any turned up UNAUTOGRAPHED WITH the foil stamp? See photo below. I believe this is the only Ashburn known WITH the Gold Foil Stamp since his card was not issued autographed. And the other cards on the sheet also would be the only ones in the set with the foil stamp UNAUTOGRAPHED. Make sense?

I love theses sets. Sorry I didn't see this sooner, I rarely look in the post 1981 area
It looks like you found your answer. There were no singles of Ashburn with the gold foil autograph on it to my knowledge. The only one I've seen is the full sheet.
