So if I am the only bidder on an item, nobody else can bid on it now that the deadline has passed. Correct?

Mike,

Sterling has a 15 minute rule, As long as you are in extended bidding, all items are open until there has been NO bids on any lots for 15 minutes. So all items are open until the whole auction ends.
