Default Cool find Leon!

Post some more of the tobacco cards if you have time. Even the more common ones. I also find it very interesting and exciting to see cards that have been tucked away for a century. Also, I might be able to afford some of the more common ones, and I'd love to get one from this collection.

last ones I will post but here ya go...these backs are not representative of the mixture of backs...most in the group are Cycle 350 and AB350, I will get exact counts and update this post, later.

when i saw this-- the cards are AMAZING
then i pondered and asked???? How did they choose B&L auctions??
Does Leon do such an outstanding job in advertising?? Must be. Definetly deserves a award for this one.

Great cards Leon. Will be fun watching the auctions. Hopefully I will get lucky on a couple of them. The colors look fantastic.

Default Corners

It's very interesting to me how much nicer the T207's look compared to the T206's. I know, the T206's are very nice... but those T207's look NM-MT with pretty sharp corners. Just some centering issues. I wonder if this will prove true of the whole find, or if there will be some juicy 7's and 8's in the T206 cards?

Maybe he collected the T206s as a 10 year old, and played with them a bit more. By the time the t207s came out 2-3 years later, he was a bit older and played with them just a bit less. Who knows, interesting question and just a theory.

When Leon says our next auction does he mean that they will be in a net 54 auction or at a certain auction house?

I run a small auction company with another hobbyist and board member, Scott Brockelman. Our next auction is Feb 24th through Mar. 8th.....And since someone asked why our auction house? Because I asked ......and we are still accepting consignments for another week or so....

actually, in addition to my snarky comment, the lady remembered me from approximately 10 yrs ago, when I helped her quite a bit just because she needed help with this collection. They didn't do anything at the time but she said she remembered I had helped her and that was the reason she consigned them. Plus she knows I help run this forum and have an audience of vintage collectors.
