Somewhere I once read that during a slow game in Seattle, Dave Niehaus was describing the action in the stands when he notices a young couple kissing after every pitch...Niehaus remarks, "Isn't that nice. He is kissing her on the strikes and she is kissing him on the balls."
"He is not a dog; a dog is loyal and runs after balls." Lasorda speaking about Daryl Strawberry. "All last year we tried to teach him English, and the only word he learned was million." Another Lasorda speaking about Fernando Valenzuela. "It's time for Dodger baseball!!" Vin Scully...the best.
