I believe they are the signatures of players. But it could be a coded message too.

I believe he went to the local elementary school where he passed out baseballs and asked the children to draw pictures of the things they love.

Picture one was done by Melissa - 'This is my family, Daddy, Mommy and my brother Jimmy'.

Picture two was done by Tommy - 'This is my dog Petey. We do everything together'.

Did I win? Did I win?!!!!

Oh, I'm so sorry, I thought this was a contest: Guess what is on these baseballs..........

Great sigs Packs, ugly or not, it's great to get them in person and for free. Takes me back to my 2 childhood spring training trips.. still have the 15-20 sigs I got there. Agree, with others though, moderns sigs have gone downhill... people just don't hand write anymore.

My most recent signed card just arrived today..

It is amazing how bad the signatures of current players are. I'll stick to vintage.

Why do you think Adrian Gonzalez was angry with you? Were you heckling him?

No what happened was I was walking around and he happened to start making his way over to sign so I stopped and walked over. Apparently he thought I cut a line, which I guess theoretically I did but there are always people standing around and who knows if they're waiting for anything.

You guys really crack me up though. I'm collecting perennial all stars, Cy Youngs and MVP players and you're focused on aesthetics. If I cared about aesthetics I'd never buy anything with Honus Wagner's mug on it. Not to mention these players are signing right in front of me on the ballfield. Which is an experience you can't get at a show or collecting the deceased.

Now THAT is funny!
Thanks for clearing up the AGone thing...I'm surprised he didn't just refuse if he thought you had cut a line.

You're right, you are amassing some incredible auto's...such a rush getting them in person (for me, not for the current guys cuz most of them are younger than me, but the guys from the 80's)

Then have your picture taken with them. Because in a few years you won't have the slightest idea which autograph is which. (Honus may not have been pretty, but he is recognizable. And he knew how to write his name.)

I don't know what it is you're trying to prove but think about how many times you've posted something you collect and I asked why bother.

Besides you get to know autographs the same way you get to know card sets. No T206 says T206.
