True, I looked at it as a huge risk. But if it were to go like a 7 or 8 with SGC it would be a crazy valuable card. But i think yall are right, the risk is just too much. Thanks

Consider it AUT - trimmed, and if it's a good deal in that grade then go for it.

Do I trust GAI? No.

GAI/Global Authority is run by a scam artist, avoid anything in their holders. Do a google search you will be amazed that they are somehow still in business scamming away.

There are some issue with the scan. Either the card isn't perfectly square of the scan is bad. That said, the image is nice. I would not trust any grading company.

I've never had a GAI card not cross over. Some the same grade, some up or down one.

Consider yourself lucky, and I'd advise quitting while you are ahead

Keep in mind there's been a couple of reincarnations of GAI
The initial company founded by Steve Rochhi & Mike Baker were OK in the beginning.

Default Other problems

There are other problems with this card that, in my opinion, would keep this card from grading 8.5. What is with the big green dot on the front of the card? Look at the back, the "R" in cigarettes seems to be filled in with ink. Plus, there is a long print mark on the back, along with a couple of smudges. There is some chipping near the bottom of the left border.

I can't see this card being an 8.5 even if it is not trimmed.

+1...As a matter of fact, their cards initially were selling for more than comparable PSA cards. However, that was in the initial stages of the company. This young card in my opinion is definitely trimmed....
