No disrespect to Lou, but.... I think you'd have to unass a lot more than that for a genuine Kreindler!

Hey guys,

Thank you so much for all of the information and suggestions - it's all SUPER helpful. I guess for now I just have to figure out what I'm gonna do.

In regards to trading a painting for one, well, that would definitely be amazing. But seriously, it's Lou frikkin' Gehrig! I mean, aside from Ruth, it's gotta be one of the most desirable signatures in the hobby. I just find it kinda nutty that someone might be willing to part with one for something other than money.

Regardless, I'd certainly be into it too, but I guess the deal would have to be super right for everyone involved. Thankfully I'm in no huge hurry to get one, so I guess there's a good amount of time to think about it.

What has everyone's experiences been with pencil signatures? Are they a bit tougher to find than those in pen? I understand that graphite is a little less desirable, but I have no idea if that has anything to do with what I see available for sale on people's websites and the such. Then again, I still know next to nothing about autographs.

Anywho, thanks again to all of you who responded to my question!

Graig
